Post Irma Debris Clean-up (9/18/2017)

Post Irma hurricane debris removal will begin in the City of Edgewood (Orange County), on public roadways.  This is scheduled to begin Monday, September 25, 2017, if not sooner.  Once FEMA requirements have been met, the City will make two separate passes through Edgewood for debris cleanup

In order to receive debris cleanup services, the following conditions must be met:

  • Vegetative debris (leaves, logs, tree branches, etc.) must be separated from regular household and recycling waste.  DO NOT BAG DEBRIS!
  • Debris must be located at the curb and must not block any roads in order to allow access for debris trucks.
  • Drains must not be covered and debris must be at least 10 feet away from all utilities including fire hydrants, power poles or any other utility structures. City and emergency officials may need access to these systems during the recovery period.
  • Debris and fallen trees on private property, including businesses, will not be cleared as the City and its contractors will not enter private property.
